The Hackney Warehouse
The warehouse was bought in 2013 by Ben and Corie Pierce. It had not been utilized or maintained for many years. The physical structure was in poor condition with trees and ivy growing throughout the building. Ben enjoys all types of restoration and this building was no different. He set out to make the building safe and compliant while preserving the integrity of the building. Using reclaimed materials to construct banquet tables, tin walls, stairs and through many unique touches The Hackney Warehouse was created…. a truly unique piece of local history.

I am a member of the national organization, The Bridal Society and I am a certified Wedding Planning Professional. I specialize in personally working with you on the wedding or event to be held in my beautifully designed venue, The Hackney Warehouse. Meet The Pierce Family
Hi there from the Pierce’s! My family means everything to me and I want you to know a little about us as you are checking out The Hackney Warehouse. My husband Ben and I moved to Murphy when we got married in 2004 and the mountains are where we call home! Our children, Bailey and Benjamin, were born here and we all love western North Carolina. Ben owns a local construction company and has always enjoyed property restoration and revitalization. That’s how The Hackney Warehouse was ‘reborn’. After years of being an abandoned old building, Ben totally renovated and lovingly restored it to the beautiful venue it is today. I get to be Mom to the two greatest kids ever as I run them all over the place! Our life is packed full as we go from our farm to school to extra curricular activities - but I wouldn’t change a thing. My business, The Hackney Warehouse, allows me the opportunity to come alongside others as a coordinator and guide as they dream about and then plan their event. Our kids, Bailey and Benjamin, enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities. Sports, hunting and everything farm related- they love it all- especially the animals! Farm life agrees with all of us! Benjamin loves being ANYWHERE with Ben and Bailey is my best assistant at The Hackney Warehouse! She says she wants to be the owner someday! I hope this little peek into my life helps you know me better! I am excited to get to know you and your family as we plan your big day at The Hackney Warehouse!
